"The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." — Psalm 145:18 (NIV)
Reflection
Samson didn't pray a theology. He prayed a need. And God, the Sovereign Lord of everything, leaned in and answered. This is what most people miss about prayer — God is not grading your eloquence. He is responding to your honesty. The condition in this verse is not that you pray well. It is that you pray in truth.
Whatever you bring Him today — however small, however broken, however far below your own spiritual standards — if it is honest, it reaches Him. Near is not a metaphor. Near is where He actually is when you call.
Prayer
❤️ Father, I come to You in truth today — not with the prayer I think I should pray but with the one I actually have. Hear me. I trust that You are near. Amen.
