Just Enough to Get Through Today
"Then Samson prayed to the Lord, "Sovereign Lord, remember me. Please, God, strengthen me just one more time."" — Judges 16:28 (NIV)
Reflection
This was not Samson's boldest prayer. It was his most honest one. Everything was gone — his strength, his sight, his dignity. He wasn't asking for a comeback. He wasn't asking for restoration. He was asking for just enough. One more time. And that prayer — small, broken, barely held together — was the one God answered with finality.
You don't have to pray big today. You just have to pray honestly. God is not waiting for your most impressive faith. He is responding to your most genuine cry. Strengthen me. Just one more time. That is enough to work with.
Prayer
❤️ Lord, I won't pretend I have more faith than I do right now. I'm asking for just enough — enough to keep going, enough to trust You through today. Strengthen me one more time. Amen.
